Tays Cancer Center
Tays Cancer Center integrates cancer treatment and research across departmental boundaries at the university hospital, as well as cancer research and professional training at Tampere University. Tays Cancer Center operates under both the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services County and Tampere University, covering cancer treatment and research conducted within these organizations. Tays Cancer Center is internationally accredited (OECI Cancer Centre 2019, reaccreditation in progress) and is involved in several international networks promoting cancer treatment and research, such as OECI (Organisation of European Cancer Institutes) and DigiCore.
